Job Summary
This position calls for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to autonomously manage the electrical project planning for custom-built special machinery within a global market leader of X-ray inspection systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed circuit diagrams using EPLAN P8 (including Pro Panel 2023), driving standardization and modularization of standard systems, and selecting optimal electro-technical components based on quality and cost-effectiveness. A key focus is the design of functional safety systems compliant with relevant norms and the conceptualization of drive technology. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and collaborating with the automation team to solve complex tasks. Candidates must hold a degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, possess at least three years of relevant professional experience in system planning, and demonstrate expert knowledge of EPLAN P8. Fluency in German and good English skills are required to thrive in this international, flexible, and innovative environment.
