Job Summary

The City of Laatzen is seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to head the Digitalization Team within the Internal Service Department. This pivotal role involves actively driving the digital transformation of the city administration, overseeing a team of seven employees, and ensuring the successful implementation of digital projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include the disciplinary and organizational leadership of the team, setting objectives, managing complex individual cases, and handling internal and external communication interfaces. The Head of Digitalization will also be responsible for budget planning, cost, time, and quality controlling for the digitalization sub-budget. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or Business Administration with a focus on Management and Digitalization, coupled with at least three years of relevant professional experience. This position offers an attractive, permanent contract (unbefristet) in a dynamic environment where strategic thinking and innovative solutions can make a significant impact on public service efficiency and transparency.

Required Skills

Education
