Job Summary

The BFI Group is seeking a dedicated Network Technician to join their team in Ingolstadt, focusing on providing essential IT infrastructure support primarily within customer data centers in Neckarsulm and surrounding external locations. This hands-on role involves critical patching work, establishing power and network infrastructure using both fiber optic and copper cabling in distribution and server rooms, and providing crucial on-site IMAC/R (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove) support. Additionally, the technician will handle standard service requests, provide technical support for events, manage inventory, control stock, and administer RMA/Trade-In processes for devices. The ideal candidate must possess vocational training in IT, practical experience in patching, cabling, and networking, good knowledge of hardware, software, and common operating systems, and must be willing to work in a 3-shift system, including weekends.
