Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician to join the Institute for Pharmacology and Toxicology of the German Armed Forces in Munich. The primary responsibilities include conducting advanced analytical procedures, specifically chromatography and mass spectrometry, on biological samples from humans and animals for forensic analysis. A key focus will be on the establishment, optimization, and validation of new analytical methods. The technician is expected to independently evaluate experimental results and meticulously document findings in compliance with strict quality management regulations. Furthermore, the role involves comprehensive management of laboratory resources, including the maintenance, calibration, and repair initiation for laboratory equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position offering public sector benefits (TVöD E9a) and requires participation in on-call duty. Successful candidates must have completed professional training as a CTA or equivalent and possess strong analytical chemistry skills, ideally with practical experience in LC-MS and HPLC techniques.
