Job Summary

The People Technology Consultant serves as the primary technical expert, owning and executing the critical Workday Release Management Process and maintaining the system's security and access controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include governing the introduction and safe deployment of all Workday software releases (including biannual feature releases), leading the review of release notes in the Sandbox environment, and coordinating stakeholder alignment. A core function involves serving as the main custodian for Workday Security configuration and Tenant Management, ensuring all access controls adhere strictly to Zalando and Workday standards, meeting internal and external audit requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in an HRIS technical role, with specific, proven expertise in Workday Security configuration. This position is essential for maintaining system stability, compliance, and integrity in a multinational environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Workday Certification in one or more areas (Security, HCM, Integration) preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in an HRIS technical role
  • Proven experience in Release Management and Tenant Management for Workday or a similar enterprise system
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with Workday Security configuration
  • Proven ability to manage system change deployment and adhere to strict technical governance standards
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization with a focus on compliance and data integrity
