Job Summary

This role involves leading innovative projects in the supercomputing domain, from initial concept and requirement analysis to prototyping, implementation, and final project acceptance. The Project Manager will be responsible for risk management, coordinating with various internal departments, and applying agile project management methodologies. A key aspect of the role is to identify, evaluate, and leverage innovations, requiring continuous learning in programming languages, frameworks, and data processing technologies. The position demands a proactive individual with a strong technical background, capable of independently diving into new subject areas and contributing to the development of hardware and software products in a team-oriented environment. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or university diploma in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering (with an engineering focus in the aforementioned areas), Mathematics, or Physics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in concept development for innovative ideas and projects
  • Professional experience in initiating, implementing, and supporting research projects
  • Professional experience in identifying, evaluating, and utilizing innovations
  • Professional experience in testing, approvals, and project acceptance
  • Professional experience in developing application software for HPC systems (especially parallel/distributed computing)
  • Professional experience with modern, higher-level programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python)
  • Professional experience with modern IT architecture and technologies (e.g., Cloud, Data Storage)
  • Professional experience with IT security procedures

  • German citizenship required. Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü3) based on the Security Clearance Act (SÜG). Willingness to travel for business.
