Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Control Systems Engineer focused on connecting people and technology to drive digital transformation, specifically within the realm of rail vehicle control systems. The day-to-day responsibilities include implementing development practices for train control, formulating low-voltage and software control solutions to meet customer specifications, and creating detailed functional design descriptions and electrical schematics. You will be responsible for managing change requests related to system functionality, providing interface control documentation, and handling supplier interfaces. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification and possesses comprehensive professional experience in electrical engineering, electromechanics, and automation technology (PLC). Practical experience with design and development software, including model-based tools like Matlab/Simulink, is highly advantageous.
