Job Summary

This role is for an EMC Test Engineer specializing in the automotive sector, focusing on ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic components and systems for leading OEMs and suppliers. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing the EMC performance of electronic devices, developing concepts for cost-efficient measurement and testing strategies, and executing comprehensive EMC qualifications compliant with both customer norms and legal regulations. A critical component of the job involves simulating and evaluating the EMC behavior of complex electronic systems within the automotive environment, alongside maintaining and calibrating test setups and equipment. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, High-Frequency, or Measurement Technology, coupled with practical experience in an EMC laboratory, and ideally familiarity with international EMC standards (IEC, EN).
