Job Summary

This role involves working as an EMC Test Engineer within the automotive sector, focusing on optimizing the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) behavior of electronic components and systems for renowned OEMs and suppliers. Day-to-day tasks include designing concepts for cost-efficient measurement and testing, conducting formal EMC qualifications compliant with customer norms and legal requirements, and simulating the EMC performance of electronic systems in vehicles. You will also be responsible for maintaining test setups and associated equipment. The position requires a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, High-Frequency Engineering, or Measurement Technology, along with practical experience gained through internships in an EMC laboratory. Ideal candidates will also be familiar with international EMC standards (IEC, EN).
