Job Summary

This role is based in Treptow-Köpenick, Berlin's largest, greenest, and most water-rich district, offering a high quality of life. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, design, and implementation of road construction projects, covering all phases (1-9) of the HOAI standard. Day-to-day tasks include independently creating construction planning documents, including cost estimates and calculations, and managing procurement processes for both planning and construction services. The engineer will also oversee project control, supervising and coordinating external planning and engineering firms to ensure project objectives, costs, and timelines are met. Furthermore, the role involves obtaining necessary public permits, conducting on-site construction supervision, coordinating contractors, and performing financial checks on invoices. This is a crucial, permanent position contributing directly to public infrastructure development within the municipal administration.
