In this role, you will focus on the 'Digital Material Twin for Resource-efficient Tailored Microstructures' project. Your daily tasks will involve modeling and characterizing defect structures in materials, identifying fundamental mechanisms in various microstructures, and applying multi-scale modeling and physics-informed machine learning for materials. You will also analyze microstructure properties like grain size, grain boundaries, and material composition as influencing factors on material laws, and combine experimental and simulation data using data-driven approaches.
