Job Summary

This role involves pioneering the development and implementation of robust DevOps (RobOps) methodologies specifically tailored for distributed, AI-powered robotic systems at the Institute for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (IRAS). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evolving a core RobOps framework, establishing automated CI/CD pipelines encompassing testing, simulation, and deployment for complex robotic software. A key focus will be integrating diverse robotic platforms (mobile and stationary) into unified cloud/edge execution environments and developing comprehensive monitoring and logging tools for AI workloads. You will also contribute to teaching and support ongoing research and industry projects by ensuring reproducible development environments. This position requires a Master's degree in a relevant technical field, deep knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and proficiency with robotic frameworks such as ROS2, making it ideal for a professional passionate about infrastructure automation and cutting-edge system-level robotics.

Completed scientific university degree (Master / Diploma) in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or comparable.
