Job Summary

This role involves supporting research and development by planning and executing comprehensive material science, materialographic, and metallographic analyses within a high-tech international company specializing in nuclear energy and advanced manufacturing. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating sophisticated analytical equipment such as SEM-EDX, Laser Scanning Microscopes (LSM), and optical metallography microscopes. The technician will be responsible for preparing and analyzing metallic and fiber-reinforced samples, conducting various tests including hardness, tensile, and dye penetration, and ensuring quality assurance for components and pre-products. A critical component of the job is creating detailed test reports and documentation, as well as contributing to the calibration and verification of testing equipment. Candidates must have a completed technical qualification in Material Science or Materialography, knowledge of relevant destructive and non-destructive testing standards, and good written and spoken English skills.   • Experience in NDT and X-ray Fluorescence Analysis (RFA) (ideally)
