Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive IT support and field services for a leading international IT service provider focusing on major corporations and the public sector. The IT Service Technician is responsible for hands-on customer support, handling configuration and usage inquiries for mobile devices (Apple iPhones/iPads), and executing MAC-D activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete). Key day-to-day tasks include the installation, commissioning, repair, and setup of various IT components such as PCs, notebooks, printers, mobile data terminals, and peripheral devices. The technician will process incident tickets, perform both remote and onsite Break Fix services, ensure operational continuity for Field and Lifecycle Services, and maintain meticulous documentation of all completed tasks while communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. This position requires strong technical aptitude, basic networking knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • 1 year of practical experience in the IT field within the last 3 years, OR completed vocational training
  • Professional experience with ticketing systems or documentation workflows
  • Experience in solving simple network problems
  • Experience in on-call duty
  • Professional experience in independent installation, repair, and upgrading of hardware and software
