Job Summary

This critical role involves acting as the Executive Architect responsible for the strategic and technological advancement of the GeoInfo business unit, which provides IT services for the German Armed Forces' Geoinformation Service (GeoInfoDBw). The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and controlling the technical architecture and evolution of IT solutions, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient services for complex military environments. Day-to-day tasks include developing IT construction plans, translating customer requirements into comprehensive solution designs, coordinating BWI services and portfolio management, and leading an interdisciplinary team. Key requirements include extensive experience in service design within complex IT environments, a deep understanding of IT security architectures (Cloud and Legacy), and proficiency with architecture frameworks like TOGAF and NAF.
