Job Summary
This role is a critical opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and integration of complex, automated test systems for Radar, Electronic Warfare, and Avionics systems used in vehicles, aircraft, and ships at AIRBUS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of test system projects, including scheduling, cost planning, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and economic goals. Day-to-day tasks involve defining test system architecture, creating system documentation, specifying hardware/software subsystems, and managing internal customer interfaces and subcontractors. This position requires strong technical acumen in measurement technology, high-frequency engineering, or optronics, combined with excellent organizational and communication skills, making it ideal for a self-starter ready to take on significant responsibility in a high-tech engineering environment.
Required Skills
Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in measurement technology
- Several years of experience in the development of test systems
- Experience as a product manager for hardware or software
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake business travel is required.
