Job Summary

ERFTCARBON GmbH, a leading European manufacturer of large-format graphite electrodes, is seeking a Head of Production to oversee the Graphitization and Finishing departments. This crucial leadership role involves ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing their team, including coaching shift supervisors and conducting performance analyses. Day-to-day tasks include planning and organizing personnel, materials, and machinery deployment, managing necessary re-planning, and strictly implementing safety, environmental, and quality protection measures. Candidates must possess a Master Craftsman qualification in Electrical Engineering or Chemistry (or equivalent), coupled with professional leadership experience in the chemical or process-oriented production industry. Expertise in process optimization, budget and KPI management, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office are essential for success in this demanding, high-impact leadership position.
