Job Summary

The GSE Coordinator will lead a small team responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and restoration of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and tooling, ensuring optimal operational readiness and minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include organizing and allocating workloads, motivating team members, and providing crucial technical support. The role demands rigorous adherence to aviation regulations, approved procedures, and manufacturer documentation, coupled with strong quality assurance practices, including monitoring calibration schedules. Furthermore, the coordinator will manage inventory, coordinate spare parts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational issues and developing structural solutions. Candidates must possess solid electromechanical and electronic skills, along with experience applying technical manuals, to ensure all equipment meets stringent safety and regulatory standards within the Maintenance & Engineering team.

Required Skills

Education

Technical secondary education (A2) in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or Electronics, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in team leadership and guidance
  • Hands-on maintenance experience in electromechanical and/or electronic systems
  • Experience in aircraft or component maintenance (strong asset)
  • Completion of initial MOE procedures training
  • Completion of Human Factors training
