Job Summary

This role involves independently planning, organizing, and executing construction projects in civil engineering and road construction sectors. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing site results, comprehensive documentation, and ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality project execution in close collaboration with the foreman. Key responsibilities include leading the construction team, coordinating personnel, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and working closely with departments like calculation, purchasing, and machine/plant technology. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification (e.g., Technician/Master in Construction), professional experience in construction management within civil, earthworks, or road construction, and strong leadership and organizational skills. A crucial part of the job is the timely calculation of supplementary bids (Nachträge) and robust economic monitoring and control to ensure project success. Proficiency in construction-specific software and knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and construction contract law are essential.
