As an Overhead Line Route Planner, you will play a pivotal role in Germany's energy transition by designing the high-voltage infrastructure of the future. Your daily responsibilities include supporting project management in the technical execution of overhead line and underground cable projects, performing complex rope mechanical calculations to ensure structural stability, and preparing comprehensive routing and permit documentation. You will be responsible for quality assurance throughout the planning process to ensure the safe transport of green electricity. Required Skills

Education

University degree in a planning or technical field such as Surveying, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Planning, Spatial Planning, or Geography.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project work, specifically in the planning and routing of overhead lines or cable systems
  • Experience in related infrastructure planning such as water, gas, or road networks
  • Proven track record in creating technical permit documentation and routing plans
