Job Summary

Join the primary digitization partner of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, contributing to the stable, secure, and efficient IT services supporting national security. This role involves designing, developing, operating, and securing the technical foundation of the Software Factory, ensuring a secure, automated, and scalable platform for software engineering projects that meet the highest security and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include continuous infrastructure development, automation of services following BSI security standards, creating comprehensive documentation, and providing expert support to agile DevSecOps teams. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, combined with at least two years of experience in building and operating complex data center or cloud infrastructures, and deep knowledge in areas like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift), or network security.
