Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Materials Tester to join one of the world's leading industrial companies in power plant construction, located in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The primary responsibilities involve conducting mechanical materials testing within the material laboratory, including operating creep testing facilities and performing tensile and notched bar impact tests. Candidates with experience in servo-hydraulic testing machines will also conduct cyclic fatigue tests (LCF). Key qualifications include relevant professional experience as a Materials Tester or a related technical background (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Metal Worker, Construction Mechanic, or Locksmith) combined with further training as a Technician or Industrial Master Metal, specifically with experience in destructive testing of metallic materials. This position offers an attractive compensation package, including industry supplements based on the IG Metall/Electrical collective agreement, an unlimited employment contract, and a direct takeover option by the client.
