As a DWDM Service Technician, you will play a critical role in shaping Germany's fiber optic infrastructure by working on advanced Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems. Your daily responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, and integration of these systems at core network locations. You will perform high-level optical measurements using tools like Spectrum Analyzers and conduct 100G RFC 2544 testing to ensure network integrity. Beyond installation, you are responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and detailed documentation of active transmission technology during live operations.
