Job Summary

The IT Solution Manager will serve as the primary strategic contact for IT solutions focusing on power plant-related processes within the Technical Steering & Solution Responsibility department. Day-to-day activities involve evaluating business needs, conducting thorough business and process analysis, and guiding demands through the management process. The role acts as the crucial interface between functional requirements and technical implementation, advising Business Application Owners and collaborating closely with Application Responsible teams to ensure technical specifications are met. You will also hold end-to-end responsibility for commercial transparency and processing within the solution space. Key qualifications include a university degree in IT, multi-year professional experience, and strong expertise in Application Lifecycle Management, Demand Management, and IT project management using agile methods. This position offers a central role in RWE Power-IT, contributing to the energy transition and managing critical IT processes.
