Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks a skilled Process Engineering Technician to manage the maintenance, upkeep, and optimization of complex process engineering systems within the chemical sector. Day-to-day duties involve ensuring the seamless operation of critical plant infrastructure by conducting regular inspections and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to minimize production downtime. A key responsibility is the execution of detailed fault analyses and rapid troubleshooting to maximize system availability and optimize overall production efficiency. Furthermore, the technician will actively support the planning and successful implementation of technical projects, leveraging their expertise to integrate new technologies smoothly. This includes assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring all systems function correctly for safe and efficient operation. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience in maintaining process engineering systems and possessing fundamental knowledge of chemical process technology and plant engineering.
