This role is centered on the development of next-generation electric drive systems and high-performance power inverters. The System Development Engineer will collaborate closely with the development team, focusing on defining precise requirements and test cases for electrified systems, components, and sub-components. Key responsibilities include establishing the system architecture, performing rigorous system commissioning, and testing using various platforms such as HiL, PHIL, E-motor test benches, and in-vehicle testing. A crucial aspect of the job involves system-level fault analysis and acting as the central point of contact for coordination and synchronization across R&D and series development projects, bridging communication between hardware and software teams. Candidates must hold a degree in a relevant engineering field and possess initial professional experience in system development, coupled with a solid technical understanding of power inverters and electric drives. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding technical environment.
