Job Summary

This role is central to advancing sustainable solar technology by taking responsibility for the selection, development, and qualification of key components, adhesives, and film systems used in flexible solar modules. The engineer will ensure the successful transfer of these materials into the roll-to-roll production process at the Dresden facility. Daily tasks include collaborating closely with project teams, supporting process engineers on the production floor, and providing expert technical advice to the procurement department during discussions with suppliers and development partners. Success in this position requires a strong background in materials science, particularly polymer or adhesive systems, combined with excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and improve processing procedures.
