Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in the safety and integrity of Metro and Cable Transport Systems (such as cable cars and passenger systems) for the international service provider TÜV SÜD. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the critical evaluation of technical documentation and safety components, followed by extensive on-site inspections worldwide to confirm structural stability and operational safety. A core duty is safeguarding people and the environment by managing risks associated with new technologies. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possesses strong knowledge of electrical control systems and installations. While not mandatory, experience in conducting risk analyses, functional safety, software testing, and cybersecurity is highly beneficial.
