Join Kaufland's dynamic e-commerce team as a PHP Engineer, contributing to one of Europe's fastest-growing online marketplaces. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing scalable and robust backend solutions for Kaufland Marketplaces and internal services. You'll take full ownership of feature development, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production. Working in cross-functional, English-speaking teams, you'll write clean, high-performance code and continuously seek improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in PHP backend development, a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, microservices, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. This position offers significant flexibility, allowing for up to 100% remote work within Germany or in-office work in Cologne, Darmstadt, or Düsseldorf.
