Job Summary

This role involves the installation, operation, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure supporting an innovative agile product used by international clients. The IT Administrator will be responsible for installing and running Java applications for internal and customer projects, managing the internal client and server environments (both Windows and Linux), and ensuring network security through firewall administration and appropriate security measures. A key component of the role is providing helpdesk support and proactively enhancing existing system landscapes and IT infrastructure processes. Candidates should possess a background in IT System Integration or a relevant degree, coupled with practical experience in managing Java EE/Application Servers, various databases (DB2, Oracle, SAP Hana), and modern PaaS platforms (Microsoft, Amazon, IBM). The ideal candidate must also be proficient in Windows Server/Client administration, security protocols (SSL/TLS), and server virtualization technologies like VMWare and Docker.
