Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated IT Administrator focused on maintaining and enhancing the core infrastructure supporting the innovative appeleon agile environment, a product enabling business analysts to rapidly build applications without coding. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation and operation of Java applications for internal and customer projects, comprehensive administration of internal Windows and Linux client/server environments, and managing the firewall and network security protocols. You will also be the primary contact for the Helpdesk and drive continuous improvement of the existing system landscapes and IT infrastructure processes. To succeed, you must possess a degree or completed vocational training in IT System Integration, coupled with professional experience in operating Java EE/Application Servers (like JBoss or IBM Websphere), managing major databases (DB2, Oracle, SAP Hana), and working with PaaS offerings (Microsoft, SAP Cloud, Amazon). Strong knowledge of Windows Server/Client systems, current security technologies (SSL/TLS), and server virtualization (VMWare, Docker) is essential. The position requires excellent proficiency in both German and English.
