Job Summary

This role is designed for a structured team player passionate about Deep Tech and innovation, focusing on supporting Bavarian companies in accessing and leveraging fusion energy technology. The Project Manager will be instrumental in identifying the needs of local industry, scouting regional, national, and international developments in fusion energy, and synthesizing critical information. Daily tasks include initiating and sustaining knowledge and technology transfer between research institutions and businesses, driving transformation projects, and coordinating exchange platforms. The position requires a background in Physics, ideally with a focus on Plasma or Laser Physics and a PhD, combined with deep professional knowledge in fusion energy. Success hinges on strong networking capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with economic, scientific, and political stakeholders to ensure the future competitiveness of Bavarian industry. This is a full-time, initially fixed-term position based in Nuremberg, Munich, or Augsburg.
