Job Summary

This role is for a Technology Funding Project Manager dedicated to advancing research and innovation programs across Bavaria. The core responsibilities involve individually consulting Bavarian companies, universities, and research institutions on technology and research funding opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing funding proposals, providing technical guidance from initial concept through final verification, and continuously monitoring industry trends to identify future challenges. The successful candidate will manage parallel projects, utilize their in-depth knowledge of innovation processes, and engage in targeted communication with stakeholders from administration, business, and academia. This position requires a background in a technical field like Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and practical experience in administering funding programs. It offers significant flexibility, including flextime and up to 50% remote work, while providing the opportunity to drive cutting-edge technological development across the region.

Required Skills

Education

University Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Medical Technology, or comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Ideally, relevant professional experience in a comparable position
  • Practical experience in the administration of funding programs
  • Experience communicating with political institutions and partners from industry and science
  • In-depth knowledge of innovation processes
