Job Summary

This role involves providing essential coordination and administrative support for the Competence Center for General Medicine Continuing Education in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (KWMV), a project focused on promoting the training and establishment of future general practitioners (GPs). The specialist will be responsible for organizing and coordinating various events, including statewide training days, seminars (both online and in-person), and mentoring sessions. Key daily tasks include scheduling, managing participant registration, preparing meeting minutes and seminar materials, and supporting public relations efforts. Administratively, the role assists with project fund management, annual financial statements, and creating/updating project documentation. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in administration, management, or the medical/educational fields, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and service orientation. This is a meaningful, part-time (50%) position, initially fixed-term until the end of 2027.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in administration or commercial/business field, or equivalent professional experience. Alternatively, a completed university degree (e.g., Health Sciences, Nursing/Health Management, Social Management, Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, or comparable studies).

Experience

  • Professional experience in administration or commercial/business area
  • Experience in the medical or didactic/pedagogical environment (advantageous)
  • Experience in event planning/management (advantageous)
  • Knowledge regarding the billing of third-party funded projects (advantageous)
  • Teaching experience in (medical) education or continuing education (advantageous)

Additional

  • Part-time position (50%); Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2027; Willingness to travel to event locations within M-V (approx. 4-10 times per year); Class B driving license (car) is advantageous.
