Job Summary

The Institute for Human Genetics, accredited according to DIN EN ISO 15189:2024, is seeking a responsible and organized Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant to join their team in collaboration with the Core Unit Genomics. This role involves crucial tasks such as sample reception, DNA isolation, and the technical execution of diagnostic molecular genetic analyses including Next Generation Sequencing, PCR, Sanger sequencing, and MLPA. The successful candidate will also assist with scientific research tasks, particularly in cell cultivation and differentiation of various cell lines and 3D organoid models. Additionally, responsibilities include technical evaluation of analysis results, meticulous documentation for quality management, and organizing laboratory workflows, ensuring equipment functionality and proper workplace conditions.
