The Network Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures essential for a leading German kitchen manufacturer. This position involves the continuous development and implementation of network architectures, including associated monitoring systems, to ensure seamless company operations. Key responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, maintaining the existing LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure primarily based on Cisco components and firewalls, and adapting network components to modern requirements like Software Defined Networking and Cloud infrastructures (Kubernetes). The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, hold a Cisco certification, and demonstrate multi-year project experience with Cisco components, coupled with deep knowledge of network protocols and concepts such as SDWAN and Firewalling.
