Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Service Technician to join OPTIMA, a leading global manufacturer of high-precision filling and packaging solutions for the Pharma, Consumer, and Food sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include commissioning complex systems both internally and at customer sites, ensuring the complete functionality of electronic components. You will collaborate closely with the electrical design team to evaluate technical issues and develop effective solutions. A core part of the job involves reviewing electrical systems for safe operation, performing measurements according to VDE guidelines, and meticulous documentation of results in test reports. The ideal candidate possesses a background as an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician, demonstrable experience in machine construction, and fluency in both German and English. Specific technical skills required include proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000, alongside familiarity with GMP documentation standards. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Schwäbisch Hall.
