Job Summary

This role is a pivotal opportunity for an ambitious Control Systems Engineer to join MITNETZ STROM, the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, dedicated to securing the power supply and modernizing the grid. The successful candidate will be based in Taucha and primarily responsible for the continuous maintenance and development of the company's advanced network control systems and network/system security management. Day-to-day tasks involve managing central control technology, updating critical data models through precise data maintenance (including Bit-Tests), optimizing network processes, and acting as a key technical contact. The position requires a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, ideally coupled with professional experience in network modeling, grid operations, and familiarity with network calculation software like PowerFactory. This role is crucial for implementing digitalization and automation projects, ensuring the stability and future viability of the power and gas networks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
