Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the safe and quality-compliant operation of the electrical energy distribution network for WEMAG Netz GmbH in Schwerin. The Network Control Systems Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing network model data maintenance essential for online network calculations, including implementing documentation requirements within the network control system. A key focus is quality assurance, particularly in the State Estimation within the control system, and commissioning new plant systems, including conducting data tests and troubleshooting. Crucially, the engineer guarantees the secure and proper operation of the Redispatch system in the Operational Technology (OT) environment to maintain supply and minimize technical risks. Candidates require a degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Informatics, fundamental knowledge of distribution network structures, and expertise in SCADA and data management systems, coupled with strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
