Job Summary

As an Immission Control Officer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a modern, digitized environmental authority in Hanau, Germany. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve drafting expert reports for immission control and waste management procedures, assessing expert opinions, and ensuring compliance with the Federal Immission Control Act. You will oversee immission-controlled facilities, conduct noise measurements, and supervise district chimney sweeps. A key aspect of the role is advising citizens and city departments on immission control matters and contributing to the development of an information system using ArcGIS and ProUmwelt.
