Job Summary
The Department Controller will play a crucial role in advising the leadership of the Public Health Department on budgetary planning, execution, and strategic control matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating financial, performance, and service planning, generating comprehensive reports, analyses, and economic feasibility studies, and managing the reporting system, cost accounting, and performance accounting. This role requires solid expertise in standard controlling instruments, including cost accounting (KLR) and financial/investment controlling, alongside knowledge of Brandenburg municipal finance regulations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Public Administration and possesses strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills to effectively support annual financial statements and consolidation measures.
