Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the IT Department for the city administration of Bad Waldsee, ensuring robust, functional, and available IT infrastructure across the municipality, including public utilities and the municipal works company. The Manager is responsible for the organizational and technical leadership of a team of seven, overseeing all ongoing IT processes, user support, and system documentation. A key focus is defining and implementing a secure, economical, and future-oriented IT operation, covering hardware, software, telephony, and system maintenance. You will manage the department's budget, drive the municipality's digitalization strategy, and handle centralized hardware and software procurement.
