Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive administration, monitoring, and continuous development of the municipal network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches, within the city administration of Bad Waldsee. The successful candidate will provide essential First- and Second-Level Customer Service and support for existing system, standard, and specialized application software. Key responsibilities include managing system and software updates, expanding and adapting current systems as part of digitalization initiatives, and executing general system administration tasks. You will also be expected to support various IT projects and ensure technical processes are thoroughly documented. This position requires a background in IT System Integration or Application Development and strong knowledge of network administration, IT security management, and Windows Server environments, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to public sector digitalization efforts.
