Job Summary

This role is for an IT Rollout Technician focused on maintaining and setting up IT infrastructure for a leading German IT service provider. Key daily tasks involve the complete lifecycle management of workstations, including the setup, dismantling, and relocation of PCs, laptops, docking stations, printers, and telephony equipment. The technician is responsible for installing and integrating peripheral devices, providing initial user instruction on new systems, and meticulously documenting all installations using app-based text and image protocols. A core function is performing first-line fault analysis and troubleshooting on-site, escalating only complex issues to specialized units. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, such as an IT System Electronics Technician or IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with initial practical experience in workstation moves. Crucial requirements include very good German skills, a Class B driver's license, and readiness for occasional nationwide travel with overnight stays.
