Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Service Technician specializing in network and communication technologies, supporting technical projects for IT and telecommunications companies. The core responsibilities involve setting up and commissioning technical systems in data centers and transport networks, integrating optical transmission technology into existing network structures, and performing necessary testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on managed systems. A crucial aspect of the job is the meticulous documentation and protocolling of all procedures to ensure smooth contract execution. Candidates must possess a completed qualification such as an IT System Electronics Technician or Electronics Technician for Information and Telecommunications Technology, coupled with professional experience in telecommunications and network technology. This position requires extensive nationwide travel (approximately 80%, Monday to Friday), necessitating a high degree of technical understanding, structured working methods, and a Class B driver's license. Excellent written and spoken German skills and a mandatory work permit for Germany are prerequisites.
