Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Biology Laboratory Technician to join a global leader in the pharmaceutical and crop protection sector. The primary responsibilities involve the preparation and cleaning of incoming seed samples for investigation, followed by the meticulous planning and execution of greenhouse trials. A core focus will be characterizing seed samples for resistance to herbicides, requiring the preparation of samples using crop protection agents and test substances, and operating specialized application systems. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant growth conditions, visually evaluating the experimental results, and maintaining accurate records within the EDV system. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Biological or Chemistry Laboratory Technician, coupled with practical laboratory experience, familiarity with automation processes, and experience conducting greenhouse trials.
