Job Summary

This position at the Biotechnology Center (BIOTEC) in Dresden offers a unique opportunity for a postdoctoral fellow to delve into the complexities of tumor heterogeneity, resistance, and evolution using cutting-edge single-cell multi-omics technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing somatic genetic evolution and integrating single-cell RNA- and ATAC-seq data to understand the genetic and non-genetic drivers of cellular evolution, particularly in childhood and adolescent sarcomas. This role involves applying and developing machine learning and deep learning methods for genomics data, contributing to the collaborative HEROES-AYA consortium. It's an ideal role for someone with a strong background in computational biology and a passion for interdisciplinary research, offering significant growth in advanced multi-omics data integration.
