Job Summary

This role is a critical position within the defense industry in Unterlüß, focusing on the specialized field of Nondestructive Testing (NDT), specifically X-ray inspection. The Materials Inspector will be responsible for the end-to-end management of testing processes, including the planning, coordination, and execution of X-ray examinations. Daily tasks involve setting up appropriate testing configurations, organizing and processing test orders, and handling potentially explosive or hazardous components safely. A core function is the analysis and evaluation of digital image data, followed by the creation of comprehensive test reports. Furthermore, the inspector ensures operational readiness by performing maintenance and preventive upkeep on X-ray systems. Candidates must possess specific NDT certifications (RT-F and RT-D Level 2 according to EN ISO 9712), a background in electronics or a related technical field, and demonstrated proficiency with X-ray software, digital image processing, and radiation protection standards. This permanent position seeks an analytical and technically skilled professional.
