Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join the Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection department in Nettgau. The primary focus is ensuring strict adherence to environmental legislation, including emissions, immissions, and water protection laws. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting regular site inspections, evaluating environmental impacts, and coordinating necessary improvement measures. You will be responsible for organizing and monitoring continuous environmental measurements, reviewing legal changes impacting the site, and providing essential environmental protection training to staff across various departments. A critical component of the role is acting as the Immission Control Officer and serving as the key contact for both local residents and regulatory authorities regarding immission issues. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, ideally coupled with professional experience in industrial environmental protection, strong analytical skills, and proven fluency in German (C1 level). This position offers an unlimited contract and above-tariff compensation.
