Job Summary

This critical role involves shaping and managing the technical concepts for the electrical DC and 50 Hz power networks operated by DB Energie, specifically focusing on S-Bahn (suburban rail) energy supply. The specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe, economic, and reliable long-term operation of the network infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed network calculations, conducting analyses and diagnostics, and developing fundamental technical principles related to power systems. A major focus is minimizing risks associated with electrical interference (EMC) between rail systems and other electrical networks. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and brings at least two years of practical experience in energy or rail power supply, coupled with proficiency in simulation software like MATLAB or PSpice.
